Write a 10-minute spoken-word video script that explains the concept to the named audience. The script must feel like spoken language (not a read-aloud essay), be paced for retention, and earn its conclusion.
Open with a hook the viewer feels in the first 15 seconds — a question, a surprise, a stake. No "Hi everyone, today we'll talk about…" cold opens. Budget the time honestly: 10 minutes is roughly 1,400-1,600 spoken words. Build one idea per minute on average — more is loss. Insert a re-engagement beat around the 3-minute and 7-minute marks (a concrete example, a question to the viewer, a visual cue). Show, don't define: lead with a worked example, then name the concept. Banned: "Hopefully this makes sense", "as we'll see in a moment" — say it now or don't promise it. End on a payoff the viewer could not have predicted from the hook — not a generic recap.
No filler openings ("Certainly!", "Great question"). No closing pleasantries. No throat-clearing. Skip the preamble — start with the substance.
Output: 1) one-line big idea + the audience's misconception the script displaces, 2) the script in time-stamped sections (0:00 / 1:30 / 3:00 / 5:00 / 7:00 / 9:00) with on-screen visual / B-roll cue next to each, 3) the two re-engagement beats with their specific function, 4) the closing payoff line, 5) what to cut first if the rough cut runs 12 minutes.
